1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep it current. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for safeguarding your authentication credentials.

4. The Service

CampPing scans publicly available booking systems for campsite openings and sends alerts. CampPing does not book or hold campsites on your behalf and makes no guarantee that a notified campsite will remain available.

5. Plans and Payment

Free Plan: 1 email scan.
Starter Plan: Up to 3 scans.
Pro Plan: Up to 7 scans and priority scan frequency.

Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis through Stripe and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid term.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
interfere with or disrupt any network or system;
resell or sublicense the Service or scans;
use automated means to access booking systems beyond permitted fairness.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, content, and trademarks, is owned by CampPing or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set forth herein.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. CampPing is not responsible for the content or practices of such third parties.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CampPing's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid CampPing in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to liability or (b) CAD $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CampPing, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Sections 7–13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vancouver, BC.

14. Changes to Terms

CampPing may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted thirty (30) days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
