No — CampPing only notifies you when a spot becomes available. You'll still need to book directly through BC Parks.

How do date ranges and notifications work?

When you create a scan, you can choose how CampPing checks availability:• Exact dates → You'll only get notified if the full stay (all nights in the range) opens.• Weekends only → CampPing checks for Friday + Saturday nights within your range.

Can I create multiple scans at once?

Yes. With paid plans you can set up multiple date ranges for the same campground in one go. You can also watch multiple campgrounds — just create a separate scan for each one.

Scans run continuously, but the check interval depends on your plan.

BC Parks offers many accommodation types, but these three book up the fastest:• Campsites → Classic spots for tents or RVs, usually with a table and fire ring.• Cabins → Small shelters with basics like heat, light, and power—perfect for chilly fall camping.• Group Sites → Larger areas for 15+ campers, great for family reunions or group adventures.🍂 Whether you're after cozy cabins or crisp backcountry nights under the stars, camping season isn't over yet!

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) through Stripe.

Yes. Payments are processed securely with Stripe, and CampPing never stores your card details.

No — you'll only hear from us about the specific dates and campgrounds you've set up.

How early can I make a reservation?

Reservations open 4 months before your desired arrival date and become available at 7 am PT daily.

What's the maximum length of stay allowed by BC Parks?

Accepted Answer

You may book a maximum of 14 nights per park per calendar year. Exceptions: 7 nights per year at sẁiẁs (Haynes Point) and Porteau Cove.
